Meat Boy is back, and together with his girlfriend Bandage Girl, he’s on a mission to rescue their baby Nugget from the evil hands of Dr Fetus (who isn’t a real doctor). In this ruthless platformer, it’s all about near misses and narrowly making it past deadly obstacles to complete each level.
What we love: The crisp pixel art, joyful soundtrack and grizzly action, but above all we adore the challenge. Super Meat Boy Forever gives you very little wiggle room; it demands precision at every moment. The playable characters run automatically, so your jumps, slides and attacks must be well timed.

Quick tip: Be patient. You will get stuck, and you will replay the same level multiple times – failure is inevitable. Then at some point everything will click. You’ll skilfully land your jumps and punches, soaring above every saw blade that comes your way.
Meet the creator: Super Meat Boy began as a simple Flash prototype. In 2008, Edmund McMillen and Tommy Refenes met and went on to found Team Meat and co-create Super Meat Boy Forever.
