Love the never-ending corporate hijinks at Scranton’s premier paper company? You’ll have a blast with The Office: Somehow We Manage, an idle game in which you relive the show’s most unforgettable scenes while raking in virtual profits. Here are six of our favourite moments:

Sweet surprise
Seen in: Episode 2 (“The Stapler”)
What happens: Jim pranking Dwight is an Office tradition, and it all started with the stapler-in-Jell-O from the series’ pilot. The scene plays out a bit differently in the game – Dwight secretly confesses that Jim’s jokes make him work harder to be Dunder Mifflin’s top salesperson – but we’re still huge “flans” of this early gag.

Dundie jubilee
Seen in: Episode 6 (“The Dundies, Part 2”)
What happens: Who could forget the ridiculous staff awards? Two in-game episodes capture the show’s first Dundies ceremony in all its glory – from anxious conversations beforehand to Michael’s awkward jokes onstage. It all builds up to the classic scene where Pam proudly claims her Whitest Sneakers Award. Whooooo!!!

Flip the script
Seen in: Episode 8 (“The Screenplay”)
What happens: Hilarity ensues when Pam finds Michael’s screenplay (Threat Level: Midnight) and everyone huddles in the conference room for an impromptu table read. Dwight as FBI agent Michael Scarn, Phyllis as love interest Catherine Zeta-Jones... it’s a slice of B-movie brilliance.

Crisis at the office
Seen in: Episode 13 (“Product Recall”)
What happens: News of an obscene watermark on a batch of paper puts the office in a panic. Creed desperately attempts to find a fall guy; watching Michael being grilled by a disgruntled customer (as a reporter listens in!) takes the laughs to the next level.

Snack time
Seen in: The Pretzel Day event
What happens: A brief bit in the show, Dunder Mifflin’s annual Pretzel Day gets its very own recurring event in the game. From Stanley dreamily discussing pretzels to the protests when Phyllis cuts in line, the best parts are re-created – along with a great Stanley/Michael bonding moment based on a deleted scene from the TV episode “Initiation”.

The kiss
Seen in: Episode 23 (“Casino Night: Part 2”)
What happens: It might not be one of the funniest moments from the series, but we had to highlight Jim and Pam’s momentous smooch on Casino Night. Like the show, the game takes its time getting there, which just makes this beloved story turn even more satisfying. PB&J shippers, your patience is rewarded!
