I think you are using the theme twentytwenyfive.
If so you need this additional plugin
Enable bbPress for Block Themes
or use
bbp style pack
once activated go to
dashboard>settings>bbp style pack>theme support
Hi Robin
Theme is TT5 and “Enable bbpress for Block Themes” is installed and active. I do not want bbp Style Pack, since it messed up my forum last time. So I have styled by css.
I have enabled block editor checkmark provided by the first plugin.
Again, why would these slugs not work?
I have specified root to be “Fora”. So I assume the slugs should be:
– fora/topics
– fora/users
and so on…?
I am aware that forum works. I wonder how to get the user slugs in settings to work?

Wil I need to create a page for each user slugs that then has a shortcode on the page?
I don’t have a user “fred”, so using those as links obviously do not work. I assume the slugs in settings will auto detect a signed in user. Why are these links not showing? On wordpress.org they look like so
I am not a bbpress author, I am simply someone trying to help out.
The slugs do whatever the plugin author codes them to do, and this plugin does not do that.
You can add this additional plugin
bbp style pack
once activated go to
dashboard>settings>bbp style pack>shortcodes
and you can see a shortcode you can use in a page
[bsp-profile]
with options for wording and edit
