Brings the power of more easily managing prefs, updates and installation from flat XML/JSON files, including loading content from XML files. Many thanks, makss for this awesome work.

It looks messy. Plus the only thing of importance to upgraders is the pre-flight check. Anyone who wants the full experience can refresh the page. Also switch logic of update check so it tries json_decode() first. The JSON function fails more gracefully than unserialize() as it doesn't throw an E_NOTICE.

Keeping the dropdowns for now. Consider either: * AJAX popup, similar to the tag builder? * jQuery to swap the fixed text string containing the currently used filter for a dropdown, and back again after selection? Todo: * Remove the inline help twisty block. * Figure out how to serve the correct pophelp topic from the new 'i' links. Unnecessary additional category wrapping div has been removed.
