Canada Post and the Canadian Union of Postal Workers have reached tentative agreements, with the union set to manage a ratification vote. The two parties had reached tentative agreements after previously reaching agreements in principle in November. The tentative agreements are for both the urban and rural and suburban mail carrier bargaining units.

The power of the physical in-store coupon is outlined in a new study by retail intelligence firm Catalina UK, which shows that printed coupons at the till are now the number one way to receive offers for one in three UK shoppers – up from one in four in 2022. This puts coupons at the till ahead of app-based coupons, which have also grown in usage but remain preferred by just one in four shoppers.

Each week, raddar is distributed to 4.8 million households in Quebec and British Columbia through Canada Post.

Nanoptix, a provider of printing technologies for the global gaming, lottery and kiosk industries, announced the sale of a controlling stake of its issued and outstanding securities to an affiliate of Salt Creek Capital, a private equity firm. Nanoptix founded in 1996 and headquartered in Dieppe, New Brunswick designs and manufactures a diverse portfolio of printing solutions including Ticket In Ticket Out (TITO) printers, roll stock printers, desktop printers, high-speed couponing printers and self-service terminals.

HP Nio - 'AI will revolutionize the world of print as we know it'

At the last Dscoop Edge global print industry user group event, HP introduced more new intelligent automation capabilities with the launch of HP Nio, a new chatbot that connects directly with HP PrintOS and allows customers to ask questions about their print operations, to receive real-time data, production insights, and on-demand knowledge. With the event marking the 20th anniversary of Dscoop, it was significant that AI dominated the conversation.

Kodak's biggest market is the printing industry.
|
Kodak has more than $300m in the bank and plans to “accelerate growth” after completing its complex pension reversion process. The reversion process involved more than $1billion in surplus pension assets and was completed. Kodak’s market capitalisation was $448.97m when the plan was first announced in November 2024. At the time of writing it was $817.47m – an increase of 82%. Around $767m has reverted to Kodak via the process, including $609m in cash.
